Annabelle – The Dog Habitat Mommy! She is very special to us. Annabelle was rescued from a Puppy Mill, she is about seven years old. She is the most loving dog, all she really wants is a comfortable bed to sleep on. After the conditions she has endured will being forced to breed – she deserves nothing but the best.
Annie and Oliver – Two adorable 5 1/2 mth Shitzus. They are fun loving, super snuggling, nothing but entertaining pups. They came to us as owner surrenders, when their former caretaker lost his job. – Application Pending
Zoey a 13 month Pit mix came to us from Brooklyn ACC, she was surrendered because she was “too friendly”. She is a high energy fun loving dog that needs a loving home to play in all day.
ADOPTED – Domino is a two and a half year-old Brooklyn mutt – some pit by the looks of his face, but he has a lean body with a very long tail. He was recently rescued from the NYC AC&C shelter and was on the euthanasia list for the day he was pulled out — only because they needed space for new intakes. He is a mild tempered, gentle pup who loves people and is great around other dogs his size.
Willy
ADOPTED – Willy needs a home — A true city slicker. Willy was a stray before landing with us. He was in bad shape when he got to Dog Habitat. With a little help from our friends he has become quite the looker. Big thanks to Stella & Chewys, Zukes and our new sponsor Ultra Oil. They have turned Willy around in a mere 4 weeks.
Willie is now ready for a home. Come meet him, he is quite the rock star.
Emi – ADOPTED
Emi is a 9 month old pup we pulled from the Brooklyn AC&C shelter. She’s a very happy little girl and is already house trained. She is a delight to train and loves to show off the tricks she’s learned. Do you have a place in your home for this pup? She’s ready to go to a permanent home. Spooky found us. No, Really! She walked up the stairs and sat on our front door just before the temperature dropped this fall. She is about 6 months old. She is extremely friendly, but in need of some hearty love. From living on the streak as a kitten she is very very skinny. We are working to fatten her up.
