Dog Habitat Rescue is a group of volunteer dog lovers whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and ultimately to re-home abandoned, stray and neglected dogs. Our goal is to be one of metropolitan New York City’s most refined and focused canine rescue facilities. Residing within Unleash:Brooklyn (NYC's premiere daycare and boarding facility) gives us the opportunity to socialize our dogs while letting them live in a cage free, eco - friendly environment. The Organic and Natural approach of District Dog has kept us focused on the health of each dog while tailoring diets specifically for their needs.

With the help of our sponsors and founders we focus on holistic methods of nurturing our rescues. Our belief is that nutrition is at the forefront of a dogs mental and physical well being. From eating strictly RAW diets to positive reinforcement training each of dogs is treated with the love we give our own dogs.

In the next few weeks we will begin posting adoption stories for some of our pups. We have saved dogs young and old, malnourished and diseased. Each one of them we have rehabilitated to 100% and found them loving homes. We believe in second chances for the ones few believe in.
